A Stop Motion first: Who took the last biscuit?

Oct 08, 2013

Stop motion animation is a cinematic technique used to make static objects appear as if they are moving. This technique is commonly used in claymation and puppet-based animation. The objects or models are brought to life by breaking up the figure's motion into increments and filming one frame of film per increment. Although creating stop motion animation is not difficult, it is time-consuming, repetitive and requires lots and lots of patience.

Watch my first attempt at stop motion animation - it's only 13 seconds long - but I made it only minutes after downloading the app... movie.mov

Look out Aardman Animations, here I come... one frame at a time.
